Project Description:

OSE   is a registration welfare organization founded in November 1993  by Desi Page (Nee Matongo) and Tim Page worked together and came up with this initiative after Desi researched and found a gap in this clientele.

The centre offers relief, rehabilitation for people with learning disabilities mostly with multiple disabilities and special needs starting from the age of five  (5) years to life.  Most of them have cerebral palsy and cannot walk nor talk. They need to be bathed, fed, taken to the toilet and even turned over when they sleep. Some are blind and deaf, so they are totally dependent on caregivers for all activities of daily living (ADLS).

TOSE not only offers respite care to clients only but to the parent and guardians as well in the sense that when clients come to TOSE, it gives the parents a breather and opportunity to purse economic activities for their sustenance

Work Description:

Tose is home for people with severe and multiple disabilities. It provides respite care, rehabilitation, and training for caregivers. The volunteers will work with the staff members at Tose to provide respite care as well as rehabilitation for the disadvantaged.
