Volunteers prepare their own food. UPA provides gas cooker, a fridge, and utensils.
Alternatively, a volunteer can stay with a host family to be more exposed to the Ugandan culture.
Volunteers are required to come with their own pocket money.
The volunteers must apply for a tourist visa online with this link. https://www.visas.immigration.go.ug/ . This should be done a couple of weeks or months before the departure date. Please refer to infosheet.
