This project aims to support the sewing of re-usable menstrual kits, a crucial initiative addressing menstrual hygiene challenges using innovative approach by supporting sustainable ways of promoting reusable pads hence solving the problem of pollution. The project contribution will primarily cover the purchase of sustainable materials like organic cotton and waterproof lining, ensuring the durability and eco-friendliness. Additionally, the project will contribute to the acquisition of sewing machines, providing the necessary infrastructure for efficient production. This project is essential as it addresses multiple facets of a significant global issue. Re-usable menstrual kits offer a sustainable alternative to disposable products promoting environmental conservation. Moreover, they empower girls in economically disadvantaged communities by providing access to affordable and hygienic menstrual hygiene solutions. The project is indispensable for overcoming financial barriers associated with material procurement and establishing a production infrastructure.
