Project Description:

Emmaus is an international organization that focuses on combating homelessness and poverty. We aim to offer people a space where people can embrace a new phase in life, or stay close to nature. Emmaus’s goal is to contribute to a better world for everyone. By living, working and sharing together, we hope to show the world that a better and more sustainable way of living is possible, and that is great for us, and the planet. People come to us because they do not have anywhere else to go.  Together (with each other and for each other) we can create a resting point in their lives, in order to create a new and independent life again. Together we form a lively community in a beautiful monastery on the border of Netherlands and Germany.
